María Castellá
María Castellá (Mexico City, 1991). Actress graduated from La Casa del Teatro A.C. She has worked in theater with directors such as Hugo Arrevillaga, Ángeles Castro, Nora Manneck, Rodolfo Guerrero, Miguel Cooper, Luis de Tavira, Stefanie Weiss, Estela Fagoaga and Daniel Giménez Cacho. She studied ballet at the Royal Academy of Dance from 1996 to 2009. In 2007 she participated in the Shakespeare Dramatic Workshop, taught by Ian Woolridge and convened by the Anglo Institute and the British American Drama Academy. She currently participates as an actress in the productions "I dreamed of a walled city", written by Juan Carlos Franco and directed by Alan Uribe, and "Galileo: a cosmic tragicomedy", written by Juliana Faesler and Clarissa Maleirhos and directed by Juliana Faesler, as well as in two independent works about to be released. In 2021 he will premiere the feature film "Champion without Crown" by Alan Coton, playing the character of Sherlyn Acevedo. Maria is also filming the Netflix series "Dale Gas" directed by Ernesto Contreras and produced by Dynamo and in the feature film "El Comediante" by Gabriel Nuncio and Rodrigo Guardiola.
