Kat Cunning
(Kat Cunningham) is an actor, recording artist, and choreographer. The non-binary artist and SUNY Purchase Dance Conservatory graduate made their television debut in season 2 and 3 of HBO's The Deuce starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal, playing Franco's love interest, Christina Fuego, and co-stars in the Netflix Y.A. show Trinkets written by Kirsten "Kiwi" Smith (legally blonde, 10 things I hate about you) as Sabine. Most recently, they joined JLo and Owen Wilson in Marry Me and Sofia Carson in Netflix's Purple Hearts. They began their dramatic career on Broadway playing Emilie in Les Liaison Dangereuses with Janet Mcteer and Liev Schreiber, as well as Lila in the Broadway production of Cirque Du Soleil's, Paramour, for which Kat co-wrote Lila's score to suit their singular voice. They hold the Damn! Series 'Best Supporting Actor Award' for Pepper and the Salt Sea, and the Traildance Film Festival 'Best Actor Award' for playing Zoe in Nothing Serious. Their music career recently surmounted in a sold-out North American Tour opening for LP and they collaborated with Juno Calypso in Refinery 29's "29 Rooms".
Says the New York Times, of Cunningham; ...the sultry-voiced Katrina Cunningham brings an exquisite, indie-siren quality..."
