Jacob Turner
Jacob Turner is a talented, Australian Actor.
He was born Jacob Elliott Turner on The Gold Coast, Australia, on 19 of April 1990 to Gae Turner, a teacher's aid, and Neville Turner a High-School Religion Teacher.
Jacob Turner was raised on the Gold Coast, Australia where he attended Primary School at Emmanuel College up until the age of 12. In 2002 his family moved to Brisbane, Australia where he saw out the remainder of his schooling, graduating from Mueller College in 2007. During his time in high school Jacob showed little interest in the performing arts however, a casting in his high school musical as the lead role "Roland" during his senior year (Year 12), saw him discover a talent and a love for acting.
Following high school he made his first appearance on camera as the supporting character, "Turner", in The Initiative Production Company's first ever production, a short film by the name of "The Film Company" about a government funded film company that never actually made any films. It was after this short film that Jacob decided to take his life in a different direction. On 29 June 2009, Jacob Elliott Turner enlisted in the Australian Regular Army, serving within the Infantry Corps in the 5th Battalion of the Royal Australian Regiment. Jacob spent 6 years in the Army, during which time he was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010/11, spent time in the Malaysian Jungle, undertook Basic Heavy Weapons Training (DFSW), later instructing on basic heavy weapons courses and finally finishing his career in July of 2015 at the rank of Corporal (E05).
It was in the months following his discharge from the military that he decided to fully pursue his love and dream of acting. Since his return to the acting scene he has assumed the role of a Thug in the feature film "In Like Flynn", an RPD Sniper in Reef Break S1 and starred in such short films as, Clarity, 10 Grand, The Fox Brothers, True North, Darkest Corner, Brown Paper Bags. Jacob is also set to appear in up coming the Feature Film "Garrison 7: The Fallen.
