CJ Johnson is a film, stage and television actress, singer, puppeteer and voiceover artist born in Dorset, UK and living in London. She appears as Natalie Jacobs in 'The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes' for Netflix (2022) and in the revival of 'Small Island' at the National Theatre (2022). CJ plays Cruella de Vil at certain performances for '101 Dalmatians', Regent's Park Open Air Theatre (2022). Stina in a new comedy series pilot 'The Players', Afrikar Ltd (2022). She is known for Katharina in Mousie (2019) for which she won Best Actress at the Social Film Festival Artelesia, Usherette in National Theatre Live: Small Island (2019) and Maiden in Galavant (2015) She was winner of the Ian Fleming Award 2001. Nominated for the West End Wilma Rising Star Award 2016. Her West End and other theatrical credits include: 'Small Island' (National Theatre), 'The Light Princess' (National Theatre), '42nd Street' (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' (workshop), 'Pinocchio' (NT Studio workshop), 'Little Shop of Horrors' (The Royal Exchange), 'The Three Musketeers' (The Rose Theatre), 'Piaf' (Vaudeville Theatre), 'Oliver' (Cameron Mackintosh UK Tour), 'Rent (Duke of York's Theatre), 'The King and I', 'Chess' (Oslo Spektrum), Jesus Christ Superstar (English Theatre, Frankfurt). She stars as Mary in 'Beyond The Fence' (2016) as part of 'Computer Says Show', a Sky Arts documentary. She has a PGDip from the Royal Academy of Music and a First Class BA (Hons) in Drama, Theatre and Television from Winchester University. CJ is an established vocal coach, yoga and meditation teacher.
