Shawn McAninch
Shawn McAninch is an American actor and performer, specializing in supporting, background and extra roles. He works primarily in the Midwest, Mountain West, and West Coast.
Shawn was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. A natural performer, he gravitated towards acting at an early age and by high school was the lead in musicals including "Anything Goes" and "The Pirates of Penzance."
Shawn continued to perform regionally as an actor throughout his career, with extensive experience in local commercials. Married with two adult children, Shawn has recently been active in the Iowa independent film community including roles in "Revenge: A Love Story" (2014) and Gods of No Mercy (2020). In 2015, he won Best Actor at the Iowa Wild Rose Film Festival for his role in "Sometimes Salvation."
