Carys Eleri
Carys is a Welsh born actress and singer, writer, composer and presenter. Her debut show, a one-woman, comedy-science-music-show called 'Lovecraft (Not the sex shop in Cardiff)' won her many accolades including Best Cabaret at Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2019. She is a fluent Welsh speaker. She is twice BAFTA Cymru nominated for Best Actress and Best Presenter. In 2013 she won The Norman Beaton Fellowship with BBC Radio 4 drama department. She has worked extensively in theatre and television in Wales. She is an accomplished singer singing in many different styles and is a member of Charlotte Church's Late Night Pop Dungeon. Her book 'Dod Nôl At fy Nghoed' (To return to my trees) was released in 2021, it is autobiographical and focuses on the loss of her father to Motor Neurone Disease in 2018 followed by her best friend to pancreatic cancer in 2019.
