William Matthew Fling was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Bill Fling and LeRita Sizemore Traylor. The family later moved to Kentucky, where Matt spent his formative years. He attended the University of Kentucky for 2 years and then dropped out to pursue the film business in Los Angeles, where he resides to this day. He is known for One and the Same (2021), All the Lord's Men (2022) and Warpath (2020).
