Cami Jenkins
Cami (McCroskey) Jenkins was born in Springfield, Missouri, to Larry and Jeanne McCroskey. She was raised in Nixa, Missouri, along with her two sisters. She began acting in high school, doing mostly theater but was in her first film, Ozarks: Legacy and Legend (1995) her senior year, directed by Oscar Award winner Kieth Merrill. Cami continued doing theater through college.
Cami got her B.A. in Biology from Southwest Baptist University and continued her education by earning a M.S. in Education also at Southwest Baptist University. She taught high school Chemistry and college chemistry and education courses while she earned her Specialist Degree in Science Education with a concentration in Chemistry from the University of Missouri. Cami married Josh Jenkins in 1999. Following the birth of her first child, Cami became a stay-at-home mom, which gave her the freedom to pursue ministry and acting while focusing on her family. Cami now has 3 children that she and Josh are raising.
Cami has been speaking to groups of girls and women since 2007 and has started a ministry called Christian County Housewives with her best friends. Cami has appeared in films such as Surrender (2014) and the Man in the Empty Chair (2015) and in the web series Drifter: Lonesome Highway (2014). She wants to continue speaking to women in churches and through her ministry as well as acting in family friendly films, but her main priority is on her husband and three young boys.
