Jay Adithya is an Indian child actor who works primarily in Tamil Cinema. He is best known for his roles as Kutlu in Kanam (2022) and Abishek Jain in Idi Minnal Kadhal (2024). Jay began his career appearing as a child model for major brands such as RmKV, Chennai Silks, GRB, Flipkart, Dettol and Colgate. He ventured into mainstream acting with his role as Young Kishore in the award-winning short film Childhood Diaries (2016), for which he also won the Best Child Actor award at the Norway Tamil Film Festival 2017. Jay Adithya bagged his first feature film role as Kaushal, the nephew of Joseph Vijay, in the commercially successful Sarkar (2018). He then went on to play impactful roles in other super hit films such as Oh My Kadavule (2020), FIR (2022) and Saba Nayagan (2023). His breakthrough role was that of Kutlu in the bilingual emotional blockbuster Kanam (2022), alongside Sharwanand, Ritu Varma and industry veteran Amala Akkineni.
