Paige McGhee

Paige McGhee commenced on her path to acting in her role as "Faith" in "I'd Rather Be Dancing," and it's her faith that carried her forward to becoming an actress. Several years of training at the Actor's Clubhouse in Los Angeles built her passion for the industry. In 2004, after moving to Miami she continued her training and graduated from the coveted New World School of the Arts in 2014. She returned to Los Angeles in pursuit of her passion at California School of the Arts (CalArts) in Valencia, California. Paige can be seen in several CalArts theatre projects including: "Afro Futro" (Yemaya), "She Kills Monster" (Tilly Evans- Lead), "Hendrix Project" (Ensemble), Jackie B. (Ensemble), Solidus (Mover), and "Hecuba" (Ensemble). Her film credits are comprised of two lead roles in short films "Napalm" (Dri) and "Car" (Em) as well as roles cast in "Into the Darkness" (Laura) and "A Lonely Christmas" (Erin). In addition to theatre and film Paige has contributed to various workshop, reading and voice productions. Paige received acting, voice, speech and movement training at CalArts with Nataki Garrett, Fran Bennet, Dwight Bacquie and Anthony Nikolchev among others. She spent a Midsummer in Oxford at the British American Dramatic Academy studying acting with Irian Brown and John Gorrie; voice from Andrew Wade and movement from Jackie Snow. Paige has skills in the areas of dance, singing, improvisation and various dialects. Paige describes herself as "bold" (impactful risk taker) and is excited for all future opportunities. Paige will successfully culminate her studies with a BFA from CalArts in May 2018.
