Carlos Gil Ferrer
Carlos Gil Ferrer is an award-winning American filmmaker with twenty years of experience in production and storytelling. By the age of sixteen, he directed over one hundred cast and crew members on a feature-length film entitled 'Scallop Pond,' which later won 'Best Student Feature' at the Long Island Film Festival. Ferrer studied Film at SUNY Purchase College, where he wrote and directed several award-winning short films and conducted a thirty-five-minute interview with Mary Tyler Moore, available on YouTube. After graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts & Film, Ferrer completed his second feature-length film, 'Retina.' He acted as writer, director, cinematographer, composer, sound designer, and visual effects artist on the film, which was later picked up by Screen Media for domestic distribution, now available on iTunes & Amazon.
