Mary Simmons was born in La Jolla, California. Her professional acting career began at age five, and she has been working in entertainment ever since. She has a BFA in Theatre from East Carolina University, where she studied the Meisner acting technique. She is now bicoastal between Los Angeles and Atlanta. In addition to being an actress, Mary is a singer and a songwriter for herself and other artists. She has worked with several award-winning artists and producers, including Zak Lloyd (Leona Lewis, Charli XCX, Keane).
