Rahul Bhat
Rahul Bhat is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films. He began his career as a model and participated in the Graviera Mr. India contest in 1998, where he won the Mr. Photogenic award. He then starred in several advertisements, including for Ponds and Breeze, and in music videos, including "Punjabi Munda" and "Soni Lag Gayee".
Bhat rose to fame for starring in the Sony TV serial Heena from 1998 and 2003, which made him a household name in India. He starred in the films Yeh Mohabbat Hai (2002) and Nayee Padosan (2003), after which he took a long sabbatical from acting. He began producing television serials, such as Meri Doli Tere Angana (2007-2008), Chhukar Mere Man Ko (2007) and Tum Dena Saath Mera (2009).
Bhat made his acting comeback with a leading role in Anurag Kashyap's thriller film Ugly (2013), which was screened at various international film festivals and won him major critical acclaim. He then worked with Katrina Kaif in Fitoor (2016) and Priyanka Chopra in Jai Gangaajal (2016). He also received acclaim for his roles in the courtroom drama Section 375 (2019) and Anurag Kashyap's mystery film Dobaaraa (2022).
