Apeksha Porwal
Apeksha Porwal is an Indian actor who made her debut in the 2020 release Undekhi (2020) by Applause Entertainment, directed by Ashish R. Shukla and produced by Siddharth Sengupta and Jyoti Sagar for SonyLIV Originals.
She studied method acting at the Jeff Goldberg Studio in Mumbai through a 9 month diploma programme under Jeff Goldberg, actor, director and previously a faculty member at the world renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York. She's also studied acting under the tutelage of acclaimed actor Neeraj Kabi and Atul Mongia.
She was a lead actor in Deranged Marriage, a comedy theatre production that did several shows across India in 2016-17. She was also a part of an adaptation of Pirandello's classical play Six Characters in Search of an Author. Both these plays were produced by the Jeff Goldberg Studio. She was also seen in Anand Tiwari's web series Imperfect (2018) for Zoom Studios.
She holds multiple pageant titles, the two most prestigious ones being Miss Universe India 2017 (2nd RUp), Miss India Delhi 2015 (winner) and Miss Teen India International 2009 (winner).
She is trained in the Indian classical dance form Kathak. Having been born and brought up in Mumbai, she is fluent in Hindi, English and Marathi. She is a voracious reader and consumes everything from fiction and classics to autobiographies.
