Gabriela Hernandez was born in Arandas Jalisco Mexico to David and Eulalia Hernandez. She was the fourth of eight children in the family. They migrated to the United States when she was only 7 years old. Gabi Hernandez's father shared his love for music with the whole family, quickly making it normal for all of the children in the household to identify with the musical instrument of their choice. They would gather and practice for family weekend performances and paid gigs around the city. That's how Gabriela's love for music and entertainment developed.
