Camélia Montassere
Camélia is born in Morocco in 1977, she arrived in France at the age of 12. She started her artistic path with dance and performs on the greatest international stages, solo and also accompanying singers (appointed dancer of Cheikha Rimitti, Raï's famous star between 2002 and 2006). Passionate about the practice of writing as well, she participates in the collective works of l'Impansable (artists collective) and publishes her first story at Le Grand Souffle edition in 2007, Baisant, seule, prefaced by JMG Le Clézio (Nobel Prize of literature). After that, Camélia meets with the cinema that will gather both her dance and writing practice, she became actress and first assistant director, in films such as Much Loved by Nabil Ayouch (revealed at the director's fortnight, Cannes festival). She also plays the lead role in the movie "Beyond the mirror", feature by aurélien real, released in 2018. Drawing on her experience of multiple techniques and fields of expression, Camélia Montassere makes her first short film in 2018 : Under Trance.
