Anastasia Mousis Sanidopoulos
Anastasia Mousis-Sanidopoulos was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts but grew up in Belmont and Watertown, Massachusetts. Her earliest performing experience came from dance instruction at O'Brien Dance Studio whose founder, Joan O' Brien, encouraged Anastasia to pursue her dreams. Her instructor has since passed but instilled the passion that keeps Anastasia active today. Anastasia has trained with Ian McKenzie and Sheryl Murakami among other notable instructors.
After a marriage which produced twin boys went sour, Anastasia divorced and left dancing behind to raise her twelve year old sons. As they got older her passion called her back to the stage; however, one fateful day in March of 2010, one evening after dance class, Anastasia was struck head on by a drunk driver whose car proceeded to flip over in mid-air. This ended Anastasia's physical ability to dance as she'd done since her childhood days. After much turmoil, therapy, and healing, she was surrounded by love and support from family and friends which helped her heal and redirect her energy towards acting.
Anastasia has worked in over one hundred feature film titles. She received her first break in 2014 when she played in "The Equalizer" in a supporting role opposite Denzel Washington. This opportunity opened many doors and she is taking them all one stride at a time.
Anastasia is the epitome of resilience and a "can do" attitude. She refuses to let her past trauma shape her identity and is eager to create and tell stories that empower others to do the same.
