Sritama Dutta
Born in the city of joy, Kolkata, Sritama Dutta possessed a mind that was fascinated by cinematic creativity and Bollywood grandiosity since her childhood years. She grew up with a passion for writing and started her career as a journalist and soon realized her interest and love for screenwriting which eventually was coupled up with directing her scripts. She has been in the filmmaking industry for over 15 years with extensive experience in script-writing and directing a wide array and genres of work that range from short and brand films, features, web series, commercials to daily soaps.
Sritama has a knack for turning even the most complex ideas into beautiful cinematic experiences with her writing at breakneck speed and finesse. Her short film, "Midnight Error" was nominated at the Filmfare Short Film Awards 2020 for its screenplay. She was also nominated for her debut direction of her long-short, "Shatika - The Undraped" in the Digital Hash Awards (January 2018 edition).
She has displayed her true mettle in filmmaking and writing not just in the Hindi industry but also in the Bengali fraternity. Besides, she perfectly dons the hat of a Creative Producer as well, being a part of a prestigious organization. She is an ideal example of a young filmmaker who thrives on versatility and creativity.
