Tanya Choudhury was born on Jan 24, in Bangalore, India, to the family of Arvind (Head of Finance in a Canadian NGO)and Mukta Choudhury(Home maker). She had a very diverse childhood along with her brother and very supportive parents. She started her education at Cambridge school in Bangalore and later moved to Hyderabad. Having completed her BBA in St. Ann's Hyderabad she wanted to get into something creative. She enjoys Indian music and dance; reading, especially the words of Osho; and has worked for various independent projects. She has completed one feature film called Sukhi Bhava and one web series called Gaali as a lead in Telugu language apart from working in alot of short films and ads. Her most recent work is a music video with the famous Indian playback singer N.C. Karunya called Chelime which is going viral on Instagram.
