Candace C. Edwards
Dynamic, passionate, and talented, Candace Edwards' presence has been felt on the Chicago theater scene for the last decade and more recently, on television screens throughout the nation. Candace Ciara Edwards was born in Chicago to Steve Edwards, a factory worker, and Gloria Edwards, a banker. Candace and her brother, Lavan, grew up in Country Club Hills, Illinois and both parents instilled education and the importance of always striving to be your best self. After high school, Candace matriculated to Western Kentucky University later transferring to Columbia College Chicago while working to establish a music career. Edwards graduated from Columbia in 2008 with her Bachelor's in Journalism. In 2021, she earned a Master of Arts Degree from Southern New Hampshire University.
Edwards has appeared in roles on BOSS, The CHI, and Chicago Fire.
