A shy introvert as a child, Rajiv wanted to be bold, but ended up becoming Bald! Rajiv, along with his twin, Raghu, is arguably India's best known and most controversial pair of twins. Born and raised in a traditional, education-oriented middle class family in New Delhi, Rajiv's life has been anything but conventional - Dropping out of college along with his twin, and marrying his childhood sweetheart, Susan, outside convention. Having tasted media as a spot-boy in a series of TV spots on Doordarshan, he started off his career in television as a trainee at the age of 20. Rajiv founded a media company in New Delhi, but exited it in 2003 to be with Raghu in Mumbai. From that point on, Rajiv & Raghu have collaborated in many high profile shows. Rajiv, along with Raghu, created India's 1st and longest running romance reality show - Splitsvilla- on MTV, and found fame as the 'terrible twins' on Roadies... India's 1st & longest running adventure reality show (MTV). Rajiv is a multiple award winning content creator, having won both national and international awards for his shows including Emmy & Asia awards for 'IMMIES'- a made-for-TV awards show, and Best adapted format for Masterchef Junior India. Being a versatile talent, Rajiv has hosted as well as judged many shows like 'The Player' & 'Nat Geo Covershot', apart form acting in movies such as 'Tees Maar Khan' & 'Dhanak'. He's also a motivational speaker who has delivered 2 TEDx talks. Rajiv & Raghu are the founders of MONOZYGOTIC, a new-age content company that creates original non-fiction formats & fiction shows for TV and digital platforms. Every year, Rajiv updates his long prison tattoo representing the years of his marriage (17 and counting), and lives with his beautiful wife, Susan and amazing singer & gamer son, Noah.
