Isol Young
Isol Young is an actress, singer and songwriter born in Los Angeles, California. Isol began performing in musical theatre when she was eight where she shined in roles in the Disney pilot of "Mary Poppins, Jr.," "Bonnie & Clyde," and "Annie," directed by Eric Woodall. Isol quickly developed a love for film and television work and can be seen in the role of Laura Danker in the critically acclaimed Lionsgate film Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. (2023) directed by Kelly Fremon Craig, produced by James L. Brooks, and based on the iconic novel by Judy Blume. Isol is also known for her roles in Skin of the Father (2018), Alma (2019), as well as commercial work.
When Isol isn't working, she is taking classes and intensives for acting, singing, dance, improv, screenwriting and musical theatre. She loves to read, write poetry, bake and go paddle boarding. Isol has a special passion for singing, songwriting and creating original music, and she is learning piano, guitar and plays the ukulele.
