Ian Salmon
Ian Salmon, A Jamaican born Comedian and Actor, based in Hollywood, CA, started doing comedy in Washington, DC. His first professional show was opening for the late Robert Schimmel in 1996. After, Ian was able to quickly build popularity and notoriety within the comedic community while most comedians spend years working and perfecting their acts. Ian decided to take a different approach by throwing himself head first into the spotlight by producing his own shows throughout Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia while providing a platform for many comedians from Richmond to New York.
Producing his own shows allowed him to gain an ample amount of stage time, allowing him to perfect his act.The former golden gloves boxer has performed at some of the most renown comedy clubs around the world. Traveling overseas to tour in countries like Japan, China, Holland, England and Canada. Some of his work can be seen on familiar and famous TV shows like You Can Do Better where he was a recurring cast member, Comedy Central and Showtime at the Apollo. Ian's comedy and style has often been compared to the likes of Bill Cosby and at times Flip Wilson. Ian moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to pursue an acting career.
