Cameron Andres
Cameron Andres is a young actor with many diverse interests . He began his performance career as a boy soprano in La Bohème (Vancouver Opera Company). After playing the Sheperd Boy in Tosca, Cameron continued fulfilling contracts with Vancouver opera for many years. Meanwhile at 11 years old, he branched out and made his professional musical theatre debut playing Gavroche in Les Misérables at the Stanley Theatre with the Arts Club. Cameron was truly bitten by the acting bug and reviewers declared, "He has talent and personality to spare". He was thrilled to receive an "Ovation Award" for best young actor for his performance Les Miserables., and subsequently A Christmas Story: the musical. Cameron continues to always be performing in some capacity dividing his time between stage, screen, musical studies (violin, piano and voice), gymnastics and his third year in the pursuit of a medical degree at UBC (where he was accepted at the age of 14). Cameron volunteers with a number of local charities, and has a particular soft spot for donating his time to support BC Children's Hospital. Cameron lives with his parents and two younger siblings in Vancouver, BC.
