Cameron S. Farmer

Cameron S. Farmer

Cameron S. Farmer (aka Cameron Farmer), is an American born, California raised actor, musician, guitarist, photographer, poet, and fiction writer from the small town of Red Bluff, CA. He is the youngest of two older brothers and sisters and has a younger half-sister. He is currently the producer of an online media company Kingspirit Entertainment Studios which has operated since 2006 and created a series of productions beginning with the "Wednesday Night Farmers Market" series in his hometown which is featured on YouTube. In 2007 he branched into recording two re-enactment shows of "Civil War Days" and the "Shasta Dragonwood & Celtic Faire" (also featured on YouTube). Other features followed around the Northern California area. By 2014, after a personal and severe financial loss due to a failed "YouTube Exposé" series in 2009 he attempted to pursue, he was forced out of his residence and moved to the Los Angeles area to help develop a show based on his fiancee, Ivy Pagente, called "Kingspirit Travels: RV Pinay In The USA." Kingspirit Travels is a travel show where independent film-making and singular focus shows the more human side of people he visits rather than a 'touristy' viewpoint. Cameron is still trying to fund one particular project called "Kingspirit Travels: The Philippines" where he spends one week with a social media acquaintance in another country and gets to know his 'co-host' and the places they enjoy. As for "Kingspirit Travels: RV Pinay In The USA" (also listed on IMDb), Cameron takes a backseat as a host and Ivy Pagente takes over. This girl (a pinay - Filipino language) travels through America and experiences the various cultures on her own terms. Currently this show is accepting donations to help purchase an RV on its Fundrazr page "Ivy's Home On The Road" and offers merchandise on its official Kingspirit Entertainment Studios shop on CafePress.com to fund its way across the United States. At the moment, plans to go through California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho are slated for its first season run and being in production in early 2018. The show is also accepting invitations from people who wish to meet Ivy and driver/videographer Cameron on their travels. It will be featured exclusively on the Kingspirit Travels YouTube channel as a daily diary and will be released as a DVD series at a later date. A guitarist at the age of 9, Cameron has developed a style all his own with influences by John Denver, Kenny Rogers, James Taylor, and Kris Kristofferson. He has also learned trumpet (his first instrument), drums, banjo, mandolin, and a little piano. His tastes in music range from American country/western, pop country, pop music in general, easy listening, New Age, and soft/hard/classic rock. His first attempt at songwriting was in high school, 1977, and 'The Ballad of the Skunk' was born. He has gone on to write over 200+ compositions ranging from country to even a rap song 'Cherish Love.' Around 2000-2002 he eventually had some compositions of his recorded and pressed into 45s: 'There's You,' and 'Some Kind of Hero.' He is currently developing an EP project based on a children's book series of "The Honey Ducky Adventures," a tribute to his adopted daughter, Jarrah Camryn Skye, whom he is adopting, along with two of her sisters. Cameron has been quite active as a writer and honed his style during high school and college. Published works in anthologies, the author of two "how-to" business books, and an infrequent Medium contributor, he is working on two projects: "The Honey Ducky Adventures," about a young female duckling and her single parent Daddy Duck (aka Thomas Duck), and an online book called "The Soul Stealer's Wife," an erotic thriller about a Necromancer bringing his dead wife back and using her as a sex slave until she rebels and is swept up in vengeance and justice then finds redemption. In acting, Cameron has slowly found his voice as a character actor in a student short, "The Billionaire Butcher" and is quietly working toward more speaking roles. He loves to volunteer his time with student film-makers with a vision and loves the genres of comedy, horror, and science fiction. Two of his acting influences are the great Vincent Price and Christopher Lee. Active in high school and college productions since 1979, he took an acting hiatus in 1984 until he resumed his career once more in 2015 and has been in more than a few film projects like "West of Hell" and "Son of Man." He calls Azusa, CA his temporary home.
