Carey Van Driest
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised between there and Nashville, Tennessee, Carey started acting early, earning a place in the local high school's production of The Sound of Music at the age of ten. Her love of the stage grew, and she spent college at Texas Christian University where she earned two degrees in four years: a BFA in Acting and a BA in Music. Immediately after graduation she moved to New York City. Her career has spanned film, television, and stage, both in dramas and musicals. Shakespeare had always been a passion and her love of the Bard led her to work with a New York-based Shakespeare company where she unexpectedly found her love of producing. In 2017 she started the production company Mania Studio, Inc. with her partner, Ronan Jorah. For many years, Carey has been a successful voiceover artist, working with such brands as L'Oreal, Geico, K-Y, State Street Global Advisors and others. She continues to add her natural wry quality to commercials and industrials.
