Carlos Gómez

Miami native Gómez has just completed the ABC series The Baker and the Beauty (2020). He previously starred in Law & Order True Crime (2017) on NBC as Jose Menendez. He also co-starred in the hit drama television series Madam Secretary (2014) as Agent Jose Campos. On the silver screen, Gómez was recently seen in The Report (2019) and Trial by Fire (2018). His career spans more than 25 years in film, television and theater. Gómez has co-starred in more than a dozen films, including Dolphin Tale 2 (2014), Desperado (1995), Fools Rush In (1997), Enemy of the State (1998), The Replacement Killers (1998), A Day Without a Mexican (2004), All About Steve (2009), The Mambo Kings (1992), The Negotiator (1998), The Peacemaker (1997), House of Sand and Fog (2003), Ride Along 2 (2016), and many others. He co-starred for four years on A&E's The Glades (2010) as Carlos Sanchez and won three Imagen Award for Best Supporting Actor and garnered him numerous Alma Award nominations. His television credits include an extensive variety of roles in, among other shows, Gang Related (2014), Weeds (2005), Sleeper Cell (2005), Friends (1994), NYPD Blue (1993), NCIS: New Orleans (2014), Criminal Minds (2005), House of Lies (2012), Charmed (1998), Boston Legal (2004), Grimm (2011), Monk (2002), and ER (1994). Onstage, Gómez completed over 300 performances as the original character of Kevin Rosario on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning musical, "In The Heights", written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Gómez's two songs, "Inútil" and "Atención", were both part of the Grammy Award-winning musical soundtrack. In 2016, Gómez returned to the New York stage in the critically acclaimed play "Daphin de's Dive", directed by Thomas Kail. Gómez is of Cuban descent, fluent in English and Spanish, and divides his time between LA, NY, and Miami.
