Ece [Edgeh] is an actor who performs on stage, in cinema, and is a voice-over artist. She lives and works in London and Istanbul. A citizen of both countries, she is fluently bilingual, performing among others in standard American and RP English accents. Born in Istanbul to parents of Bosnian heritage, her father a submarine commander and her mother a painter, She spends her childhood moving and living around the globe from Istanbul to Brussels, Karachi, and later settles in London and Istanbul. She starts acting at the age of 12 in children's musicals in Belgium. After 10 years of amateur stage work, she attends and graduates from the Arts Educational Schools of London (ArtsEd). London is also the setting of her debut professional acting playing the lead, Philothei, in a play adapted from the international bestseller novel "Birds Without Wings" by Louis de Berniere. She is represented in London by The BWH Agency. Ece is also an established actor of DOT in Istanbul, a multiple award winning contemporary theatre company. She has taken many important roles in successful plays such as: Theatre Uncut in Edinburgh, Shopping and F***ing , Shoot Get Treasure Repeat, and Golden Dragon. The latter play brought her a Sadri Alisik national theatre award for Best Supporting Actress. Ece Dizdar is also a well-respected Voiceover artist represented by Melodika in Istanbul. She has been the voice for over 50 brands such as Mercedes, Dove, Samsung, as well as the voice for many characters in cartoons and Video games such as Puppeteers for SONY. Her new film "Drawers" in which she plays the lead role Deniz is coming to theaters in Istanbul on March 6th, 2015
