In May of 2017, his brother Chase Garcia was getting ready to start production on Dissidents: A STAR WARS Story. On the very day before production, an actor for a lead role had to back out of the production. Gage was asked by his brother to come in, with no prior acting experience, to take on the role of Tarrick. He could've backed down and said he didn't want to or that it would be to difficult; but Gage decided that it would be very fun. So on the night before, he studied intensely on all of his lines. When the time came for action, Gage was prepared mentally and physically for the role. He showed everyone that when you're extremely passionate about something, and if you work hard, that anything is possible. In 2017 he simply chose to help someone who needed him, but what happened is the actor life chose him. He is now pursuing training and auditioning for more roles after what was surely for him a life changing experience.
