Jack Murillo

Jack Murillo

Born in San Diego, California to Art & Rhoda Murillo with his two brothers, Jason & Nathan. Being in a musical family, Jack learned to play the piano and sing at performance level at a very young age. From that point forward his interest in music and the arts soared through to his teenage years. In high school he was the dance captain for his school's Show Choir, a form of choir designed to be identical to Broadway-Musical-style performances with up to 40 individuals on stage singing and dancing, sometimes in competition with other schools. Simultaneously Jack took a special interest in Mixed-Martial-Arts specializing in Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. At the same time, Jack led his Show Choir called "The Music Machine" as dance captain to 1st Place at the Grand National Championships in New York City. Afterwards Jack enlisted in the Marine Corps Infantry and was shipped off to Marine Corps Boot Camp shortly after graduating High School. While in the Marine Corps Jack served as an Infantry Rifleman, Machine Gunner, and Scout/Sniper Platoon Marine, serving on two deployments with Marine Expeditionary Units. Close to the end of his service, Jack started a successful Facebook Military personality/comedy skit series called "The Buffalo Hunter", with videos reaching up to 3 Million views. It was during this time that Jack discovered his talent for being an entertainer, in conjunction with his likes and interests growing up. Once his service was completed, he had a choice to make: join the Special Operations community, or pursue his dream as an Actor. He decided to become an Actor. He moved to Los Angeles a week after being Honorably Discharged where he began his studies at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute's Method Acting Conservatory. His work has since included Feature Films, Network Television, Independent Short Films, Theatre, National Commercials, and New Media with more projects on the way.
