Jada Facer

Jada Facer is a pint-sized actress who recently got her big break in the hit ABC Family series "Melissa and Joey," portraying the surprise daughter to Joey Lawrence. Facer arrives and stirs things up as 'Dani,' the spunky, feisty and rebellious daughter to 'Joe' and 'Felicia' (Brooke Burke Charvet). Fans get to see more of Facer in season 4 of the beloved series (Fall 2014) as she moves in with Mel and Joe. Facer discovered her love for professional acting after an opportunity came to her to work on a short film titled "Y: The Last Man," a horror film based on a book. Thereafter, you can find Facer in a variety of productions including television series ABC's "Mistresses," CBS' "Bad Teacher" and independent and short films including "One Bad Thing," "Nina Del Tango" and "Father's Promise." Her most memorable role is in the 1800s period piece, the Hallmark original film "Love's Christmas Journey," which has become a staple on the network every year during Christmastime. Facer, who is a Utah native, moved to Los Angeles when she was just nine years old. Growing up with a love for Shirley Temple, she played dress up and pretended to be the tiny actress. Facer participated in choir, musical theater and Community Theater with a desire to entertain from a young age. Her favorite part of acting and performing is the ability to make the audience identify with the character and emotions. When Facer is not acting, she likes writing music and singing. During her spare time she enjoys drawing, cooking special dinners and desserts with her parents, spending time outdoors and spending time with her dogs.
Jada Jones

Jada Jones

Jada Jones is a multidisciplinary performing artist born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She's of African American and Chinese-Malaysian decent and her maternal grandfather gave her the middle name Teoh Minwen, which she wears with pride. She is a big-time family girl and has a close relationship with her younger sister, who follows in her go-getter, independent footprints. Jada grew up in an empowering household, she was free to pursue her wildest dreams and followed her passion for artistic expression. She attended kindergarten at a magnet school for the performing arts and danced at the recreation center starting at age six. Her love for singing blossomed just as young. Jada was placed in honors chorus in kindergarten-she was a standout in a chorus that was comprised solely of 3rd-5th graders. In 5th grade, she auditioned for Northwest School for the Arts. She was accepted and spent the next six years fostering her acting, singing, and dancing skills there-winning Best Female Dancer in a High School Advanced Ensemble at the Musical Theatre Competition of America (2018). Simultaneously, she was discovered at her local recreation center by the North Carolina Dance Theatre and received a full scholarship to the Charlotte Ballet Academy. She danced in the youth summer program from interdisciplinary through high school, which helped her place in level 3 in the Ballet Academy-where she developed for 2 years-and move up to level 4. Due to the school's lack of inclusivity and early injuries that dancers are prone to, Jada decided to leave dance school and pursue an early graduation from high school. She graduated from Northwest School for the Arts a year early as an honor roll student. Upon graduation, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting. A few months into auditioning, she received a Broadway callback for Meredith Willson's The Music Man and a small role in Hamilton, before the coronavirus hit and shut down production. She moved back home to North Carolina, regrouped while auditioning for TV and film remotely, and inevitably took her talents out to Los Angeles. She's now based in Hollywood, CA and building her career in the City of Angels. She currently trains with Annie Grindlay. One other fun fact about Jada is that she is a social influencer. She began her online presence on YouTube and has evolved from an art student pursuing her passion to the non-college approach to adulting - which has spanned into an Instagram following with high engagement and a podcast called "Highkey Adulting" that can be found on iTunes.
