Masatoshi Nishimura
Masatoshi Nishimura is a composer, producer, and bassist. He began his career as a session bassist in Japan. In 1984, he joined the unit "Friends of Earth" which was formed centered on Haruomi Hosono belonged "Yellow Magic Orchestra". They released three albums and they acted opening performance of James Brown's live concert at Budokan in 1985. In 1991, he composed his first orchestral soundtrack for the animation "Three Kingdom". Also he worked as a music producer of the game software of Playstation. After that, he was in charge of music for many movies. In 2014, he moved to Los Angeles, and composed the soundtrack of "Promise to Sea Turtle" witch was taken to Japanese film festival LA 2015. Participated in 2017 as a bass player in the Canadian Vietnam collaboration film" Saigon Body Guard". In 2018, he composed TV anime series "Fist of the Blue Sky". In 2019, he composed two songs TV drama" 3rd Grade, class A you guys are my hostages from today". It won prizes at 100th Television Drama Academy Awards on May 2019.
