Matt Houlihan
Matthew is an award winning actor from Camberwell, South London. His work carries diverse influences from his London experience.
He enjoys bringing an eccentric quality to the work he approaches, something old-school and other worldly in his style. He excels in comedy and dark drama and has a penchant for the surreal.
A character actor, Matthew is influenced by Alec Guinness, Rowan Atkinson, Robin Williams, Michael Keaton and of course, Charlie Chaplin.
Matthew attended the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, learning stagecraft, voice and speech.
After training, Matthew entered repertory at The Orange Tree Theatre. Playing on such high profile stages as The Southwark Playhouse, The Kings Head, The Old Red Lion, Theatre 503, National Theatre Wales, and The Globe.
Matthew is inspired by the work of film directors such as Martin Scorsese, Paul Greengrass, Hitchcock and Kubrick. He has found the practical process of learning acting for screen to be very exciting.
Matthew stars in 'Faces of the Dead', which has won many awards at film festivals around the world.
