Talmadge Ragan
Talmadge Ragan was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, the daughter of writers ( her father was North Carolina's Poet Laureate, her mother, a journalist). She attended Chatham Hall and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she majored in Dramatic Art and Radio/TV/Motion Pictures. She was an actor in Joe Layton's The Lost Colony in Manteo, NC for several years and moved to New York City where she produced commercials and continued to do theatre around the country. She also wrote two newspaper columns and contributed to literary journals, as well as spending a year as a speechwriter in Washington D.C. for a N.C.Senator. She moved to Los Angeles in the late '80s and became active in the television and film community as well as continuing with theatre and voice work. She and her husband, film and TV director, Worth Keeter founded Blue Kiss, LLC, a film and commercial production company in 2000. They moved to Charlotte, NC in late 2010 and continue to run Blue Kiss Media, also including audiobooks and commercials on their production roster.
